JIAAO ENPROTECH is committed to sustainable energy solutions and launched a 1 million tons/year sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) project in September 2022 in Lianyungang, Jiangsu Province. This project, the largest single-unit SAF production facility in China, marks a significant step toward advancing green aviation fuel.

Core Technologies
The project integrates JIAAO's proprietary waste oil pretreatment technology with Honeywell's globally advanced UOP Ecofining process. This combination enables the production of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), hydrocarbon-based biodiesel, and bio-naphtha. These high-value products are primarily exported to the EU as premium blending components for jet fuel, meeting the stringent standards of international aviation fuel markets.

JIAAO Lianyungang Bio-Aviation Fuel Comprehensive Laboratory
An integral part of the project, the JIAAO Lianyungang Bio-Aviation Fuel Comprehensive Laboratory is China's largest SAF testing center. With a total investment of 110 million RMB, it spans 3,500 square meters and houses over 150 pieces of advanced precision equipment, designed by the U.S.-based Petroleum Analyzer Company (PAC).
