China DOA (Bis(2-Ethylhexyl) Adipate) is a light colored, oily liquid generally used as a plasticizer additives for PVC. China DOA is resulting from the esterification of 2-Ethyl Hexanol with Adipic Acid . It is the most important in the adipate group, it offers a high efficiency, better flexibility properties at low temperatures and resistance to the loss of color by exposure to heat and ultraviolet light.
DOA can be used alone or blended with other plasticizers, such as DOP or DOTP. In PVC, DOA features flexibility at low temperatures, good electrical properties, good resistance to weathering, and good stability to heat. Applications
JIAAO’s DOA is used in the manufacturing of clear films for food packaging, toys, wire and cable. Additionally, it is compatible with nitrocellulose, ethylcellulose, most synthetic rubbers, and high-butyryl cellulose acetate butyrate. As a short chain ester, it is incorporated in the production of high-boiling, biodegradable, low-toxicity solvents and antiperspirants.
