Dioctyl adipate(DOA) is an excellent cold-resistant plasticizer of polyvinyl chloride, which gives the products excellent low-temperature flexibility, light and thermal stability and water resistance.
DOA is nontoxic and can be used in food packaging.The pressing and calendering products of dioctyl adipate show excellent lubrication properties and good hand feeling.In plastisol, the initial viscosity is low and the viscosity stability is good.
DOA is usually used with plasticizers such as DOP and is also used for cold-resistant agricultural film, wire, board, artificial leather, outdoor water pipe and frozen food packaging film. DOA can also be used as a plasticizer for many low-temperature rubber plasticizers and nitrocellulose, ethyl cellulose and other resins.
